The footprint 2.0 is compatible with the Samaya 2.0, the Samaya Assaut 2 and the Samaya Assaut 2 Ultra.
Designed in 30D high-tenacity Nylon 6.6, its main function is to protect the floor of your tent against the risks of abrasion and puncture. It therefore allows you to use your Samaya® tent regardless of the terrain on which you choose to pitch it.
The footprint 2.0 is rectangular in shape and fits perfectly with the Samaya 2.0, the Samaya Assaut 2 and the Samaya Assaut 2 Ultra.
At only 155 grams and 0.8 litres packed volume, this footprint will allow you to fully exploit the 4-season technical capabilities of your Samaya® tent. It will reinforce resistance to abrasion and puncture by creating a first protective layer between the terrain and your tent.
There is no need to take it on your mountaineering outings as snow cannot damage your tent floor in any way. We do recommend it, however, for all your trekking trips, where the terrain on which you pitch your tent is uncertain.
Each side of the footprint has a specific coating. The side in direct contact with the ground is silicone-coated to increase abrasion resistance. The surface in contact with the tent is covered with a PU coating which, thanks to its tacky texture, prevents the two fabrics from sliding against each other.
