The Ultralite Bivy belongs to the category of items you'd rather never have to use, but which is wiser to have with you.

The windproof and waterproof film reflects 90% of body heat. It is more stable than the film of a rescue blanket and, thanks to its bag shape, it is better suited for emergency bivouacking.
