The particularity of Futura is the NoEdge technology specially developed for the sole.
Unlike conventional climbing shoes, the manufacturer has completely abandoned edge construction, creating a sole that perfectly adapts to the profile of the foot. The absence of edges allows the foot to exert uniform pressure on the inner wall and transmit it homogeneously to the outside. Combined with a thin rubber thickness, this allows for extreme adaptability of the Futura to the wall and maximizes the contact surface of the various holds.
A sure and precise step guaranteed!
In order to protect the climbing shoes against wear and despite the thin rubber layer, the edge of the Futura is equipped with a rubber protective rand that provides additional grip and prevents rapid deformation of the shoe. Added to this is the patented P3 system which prevents deformation of the shoe and in particular of the arch, thanks to the special treatment of the midsole.
Of course, high-performance climbing shoes such as the Futura feature a good camber and arch, for effective power transmission to the forefoot. Furthermore, the Futura is equipped with the Fast Lacing System which allows for quick and precise putting on and taking off.
